Maple Atlas field guide

How to read MapleStory client data

Learn what a Classic World client snapshot can show, how source names and translations are labelled, and which server facts it cannot prove.

What this reference contains

Maple Atlas publishes selected records from the English-language Classic World client snapshot. Each record keeps its original source ID and links back to the interactive catalogue when the source record is present.

The visible version and revision identify the snapshot used for this page. A later client import can change names, fields, and relationships, so compare the revision before citing values from different pages.

Original text and Chinese translations

English pages use the source text. Chinese pages keep the English source name visible and show whether a Chinese field is a machine translation, has been reviewed, or is still pending.

A pending translation means the page shows the available source text for that field. It does not mean that a translated value was inferred or approved.

Client data and live game state

Static client fields describe resources packaged with the client. They do not establish current server behaviour, live spawn status, access permissions, event availability, prices, or item drops.

A missing value is shown as unavailable. Zero is shown as zero when the source explicitly contains it. A client-record relationship is evidence of that recorded relationship only.

Source-backed example

English source name Snail · Source ID 2

Source revision sha256:ab05812c11a122fb30289ac95b436ce45510f71f1d5f2cf5c6af5cae6f5069dc

Question 1: What level, HP, MP, and EXP does this client record show?

Level 1 · HP 45 · MP 30 · EXP 2

Question 2: Where can I find its recorded maps?

The client map references are listed on the same mob record: mob record for source ID 2.

One map reference in this record: English source name Snail Hunting Ground I 000000040. This client reference does not prove a live server spawn.

Question 3: Can this snapshot confirm live spawns or drops?

No. Static client data cannot prove a live server spawn or an actual item drop. A MonsterBook relation would not confirm a drop, and an omitted relation does not prove that an item never drops in the game.
